Jen Aniston’s long-standing hair dresser, Chris McMillan posted this pic of the pair on his Instagram. Jen, who is 44, looks fresh and make-up free – and we’ve got to say it, doesn’t she look fab!

Good, bad or average? Great! If only we looked this good without make-up on too!

2-Kirsten Dunst

Good, bad or average? Her skin looks amazing, although we’re not sure Kirsten’s pleased about having her photo taken judging by that look!

3-Jennifer Lopez

What a lovely picture! JLo tweeted this sweet photo of her and boyfriend, Casper Smart, cuddled up as they watched the sunrise in Malaysia. The singer’s currently on a world tour so it must be nice for her to put her feet up, scrape her hair back and take all that heavy make-up off.

Good, bad or average? Great. We think going make-up free really suits her!

1. STOP THE ITCH

For fighting flakes, dandruff and a dry, itchy scalp, blend 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice with equal portions olive oil and water; rinse hair, towel-dry and massage into the scalp, all the way down the roots. Let it sit and soak in for around 15-20 minutes, then rinse it out and wash hair with an antidandruff shampoo.

2. MAX VOLUME

For restoring bounce to lifeless strands, mix a super-volumising elixir with half a cup of honey, two tablespoons of olive oil, two small, ripe avocados and one egg yolk. Apply on the entire head and leave on for two hours until hardened. Shampoo and condition as usual and blot dry with paper towels.

3. MOISTURE, SANS OILINESS

Egg yolks are rich in fat and proteins that are naturally moisturising, and the whites contain bacteria-eating enzymes, which remove unwanted oils. Egg whites for oily hair and yolks suit dry hair. Coat hair with the egg wash, leave it on for 20 minutes, rinse with cold water and shampoo as usual.

4. CHUG ALONG

Nothing adds bounce and vitality to fine or limp hair like yeast, found in the most unlikely beauty beverage: beer! Mix half a cup of flat beer (shake the gas out), one teaspoon of light sunflower oil and a raw egg. Apply to just-shampooed, blow-dried damp hair, leave it in for 15 minutes, then rinse out with cold water.

Check your expiration date of beauty products.

It’s time to update my beauty bag. As you know that beauty products do expire, so I’ll take some time to check my beauty basics and throw out the old ones, and replace them with new ones. I include here the basic guideline about Beauty Products and Expiration Dates.

20121130-001720.jpg

You know your makeup and skin-care items won’t last forever, but for how long are they good? Check out this guide. Remember ladies, expired beauty products will affect your beauties. So read this and hope it will help you.

Anti-aging and acne treatments:
– Three months to a year. Antioxidants are easily oxidized, so be on the lookout for any changes in color.
Body lotion:
– Two to three years, particularly if it’s in a pump container.
Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel:
– About three years.
Bath oil:
– One year.
Sunscreen:
– Check the package for an expiration date.
Mascara and liquid eyeliner:
– Three to four months. Make sure you’re diligent about replacing these items to prevent contamination and infections.
Eye and lip pencils:
– Three to five years. Sharpen them before each use as a way to preserve them and keep them clean.
Lipstick and lip gloss:
– Two to three years.
Foundation:
– About two years. Most bottles are designed to last that long. And if you don’t use it, chances are you didn’t love it to begin with.
Perfume:
– About two years. To get more mileage out of a perfume, resist the temptation to display a pretty bottle on your vanity. Instead, stash it away in a cool, dark place.
Nail polish:
– One year.
Hairstyling products:
– Three to five years. Most are alcohol-based, which helps preserve the formula.
Bar soap:
– Up to three years.
Shaving cream:
– About two years.
Deodorant:
