The Worlds Best Burger

From an American classic to a Chinese-spiced vegetarian version, there’s a pick for every palate. So get out and get grilling!

PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM BURGER WITH CHINESE SPICES
SERVES 4

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
COOK TIME: 15 MINUTES

4 portobello mushrooms, stems removed
1 1⁄2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 1⁄2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
1⁄2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
4 heads baby bok choy,
cut in half length-wise
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
2 scallions, thinly sliced
4 onion rolls, split and toasted

1. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium. Gently scrape the gills from the undersides of the mushroom caps and discard
